After the rest day yesterday, play was resumed today.
Game 3 was a very correct game from both sides which logically lead to a draw.
The most exciting about todays game was probably that they didn’t shake hands (they simply forgot to, at least that was the statement on the press conference) and that there were no draw offers in the end, the game was played out to a repetiotion and then both players left the board, again without handshakes or anything.
Ridiculous and childish!

The game analysis of the game is available in my youtube video:

Anand strikes back!
After his loss in the opening game I think many of us were excited to see the reaction from the world champion. And he delivered as a true professional: Steering the game into a postion which he knew would be uncomfortable for Topalov. Topalov lost patience and Anand scored a well deserved equalizer.
1-1 after 2 games.
Watch my game analysis of the game in the youtube video below.

Planning before attacking! - This is the title I’ve chosen for my latest video.
The video analyzes a game I played against David Trott on chess.com. He’s rated 1700 there and in the game I try to pinpoint where he goes wrong as a chess player.
If deduced, he has the answer to many questions, but he more often than not fails to ask the questions to himself!
If you’re a 1300-1600 ELO player I believeyou could learn something from this video.

This is my most recent game in which I very luckily won because my opponent blundered a piece in an equal endgame. He immediately resigned. I now have +2 =6 -0 and is in 2nd place for the tournament.

The chess event of the year is getting closer and closer!
In two weeks time the Anand-Topalov WCC match starts in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The official website for the match has been up for quite some time already.

As a little warm up for the match I have done a couple of videos today, covering two of the earlier games between Anand and Topalov.

The first game is Anand-Topalov, Las Palmas 1993 - Part One - Part Two
The second game is Topalov-Anand, MTel Masters 2005

Please watch these great games of the past and let’s all hope that they produce similar quality in their games in the upcoming world championship match!
